LLB student Ashley Weldon recently won first prize for a paper she submitted to the Sir John A. Mactaggart Essay Prize Contest. The paper, entitled "Water Works: Subsidence Liability and Remedies in the Alberta Coalbed Methane Context", was a written assignment for Law 681.33, taught by Professor Arlene Kwasniak during the Winter 2009 term.
