On October 15, Professors Sharon Mascher and Nickie Vlavianos (left) participated in a workshop concerning “Liability for Offshore Oil and Gas Development in the Canadian Arctic” that was organized by Natural Resources Canada. Sharon and Nickie participated via video-conferencing in the workshop that included government personnel, regulators, industry representatives, ENGO representatives, and a few academics in attendance in Ottawa.
