Professor Shaun Fluker (left), LLM graduate Rob Omura, and current LLM student David Poulton are each presenting work at the Under Western Skies 2: Environment, Community, and Culture in North America conference being held at Mount Royal University October 10 – 13. Shaun is presenting a paper on “Wildness as the Antithesis of Law: Implications for Environmental Protection,” Rob is presenting his work on “The Law of State Responsibility and Multilateral Environmental Agreements,” and David is presenting his research into “Market-Based Conservation and the Alberta Land Stewardship Act (ALSA): What Do These Mean for Alberta?”, all as part of a panel on Environmental Law and Ethics.
