Professor Shaun Fluker is presenting a paper and chairing a panel at the Global Ecological Integrity Group’s 2012 Conference which takes place in La Rochelle, France from June 18 to 23. The topic of the Conference is “Confronting Collapse: What Agencies, Institutions and Strategies Are Needed for a Better World? How to Achieve Environmental Justice?” Shaun wil present a paper on “How Institutional Design Constrains the Power of Law to Implement Environmental Norms: The Case of Ecological Integrity in Canada’s National Parks” in a panel on Ecological Integrity and Environmental Justice on June 19. He will also be chairing a panel on Environmental Justice: Cases and Issues on June 22. The program is available here.
