Graduate student David Poulton is presenting his research on conservation offsets and pipeline rights of way at conferences in Calgary and Phoenix in late September and early October. He presented his paper on “Conservation Offsets and Pipeline Construction: A Case Study of the TMX Anchor Loop” at the 2012 9th International Pipeline Conference held in Calgary September 24-28. He will be presenting “Conservation Offsets and Pipeline Rights of Way: Lessons from the TMX Anchor Loop Project”, a more focused version of that first paper, at the Tenth International Symposium, Environmental Concerns in Rights-of-Way Management, in Phoenix,  Arizona  September 30 – October 3. At the latter symposium, Dave is also a member of a plenary panel discussing the impact of social media on regulatory processes and stakeholder relations.
