Professor Jennifer Koshan’s review of Clare McGlynn and Vanessa E Munro (eds), Rethinking Rape Law: International and Comparative Perspectives (London: Routledge, 2010) and Nicole Westmarland and Geetanjali Gangoli (eds), International Approaches to Rape (Bristol: Policy Press, 2011) was recently published in (2012) 21(3) Social & Legal Studies 425–430. Jennifer’s research interests include work on state responsibility for protection against violence and her volunteer work includes efforts as a member of the legal team on the Equality Effect's 160 girls project in Kenya.
