Weds, Jan 13 - Judge-in-Residence, Judge Lamoureux, is hosting the first Judge Lamoureux Coffee Shop, entitled "Exam Hangover", at 12 pm, in MFH 2380 (FMC Student Lounge)

Weds, Jan 20 - The Faculty of Law will be hosting a Federal Court Panel Discussion titled "The Federal Court, Immigration and Judicial Review - A Real Life Experience", featuring Justice Snider of the Federal Court of Canada, Camille Audain of Justice Canada, and Peter Wong or Caron and Associated, 10 am to 12 pm, in the Moot Court (MFH Rm 3370; space is limited!); Student Legal Assistance is holding a Mock Trial Competition, from 6 to 8 pm, in MFH rooms 3320, 3340, 3365, 3385, and 3332, followed by a reception in the faculty lounge on the 4th floor, from 8 to 10 pm

Thurs, Jan 21 - Career Services is hosting the 2nd annual Women in Law Panel, from 12 to 1:45 pm, in MFH 2370, with the following panelists: Kelly Bourassa, Nancy Brennan, Marney Lutz, Susan Pepper, and Salimah Walji-Shivji (special thanks to Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP for sponsoring the lunch)

Tues, Jan 26 - Last day for adding courses or for changing registrations from credit to audit or audit to credit in full courses and winter session half courses; Senior Counsel Brian Devlin, QC and Judge Heather Lamoureux will demonstrate handling objections at "Examination for Discovery", with client Professor Alice Woolley who will be vigorously cross-examined, at 12 pm in MFH 2370.

meeting of its Education Subcommittee at 6 pm in MFH 4365 (students, faculty and staff are all welcome to attend).

Thurs, Jan 28 - The Equality Committee and Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre is hosting a Brownbag Lunch entitled "Canada Goes for the Gold... Unless You're a Female Ski Jumper", from 12 to 1:45 pm, in MFH 2370 (lunch will be provided); Pro Bono Students Canada and the Environmental Law Society present the Just Cause Career Fair, from 5 to 8 pm on the 4th floor of Murray Fraser Hall.
