Almost all U of C Faculty of Law course materials that are available on the web are only available to those who are registered in a U of C Faculty of Law course. A secure web site has been established for course material access through Blackboard. Blackboard offers students electronic access to course outlines, syllabuses, supplementary materials, reading lists, past examinations, and a "student discussion board". Blackboard can be accessed using student IT accounts which are available to all students registered at the University of Calgary. Each blackboard course is limited to students "registered" in the course. If you are not registered through the Registrar's Office, you will require the instructor's permission to access the blackboard course through "Guest Access". When students enter their personal IT accounts, there will be an automatic list of blackboard courses that are available to that student.
If you have any difficulties entering Blackboard, please contact: Information Technologies Support Centre, Phone: 220-5555, or Email blackboard.help@ucalgary.ca. The web page http://www.elearn.ucalgary.ca/blackboard/ is a starting point for information about Blackboard at the University of Calgary.
