Graduation

Graduation & Convocation

All of your hard work has paid off and your are now preparing to celebrate your efforts at convocation.  In order to graduate, you must ensure the completion of all faculty and program requirements.   If you are unsure of your status, please contact your advisor early in the semester to ensure all of your requirements will be met in time for convocation.

This web page has been created for Faculty of Law students to provide you with a checklist and a step-by-step guide to know what to do before convocation.  Pay particular attention to the links and deadline dates to help you get started.

All students need to apply for graduation by May 10, 2012, even if you do not plan on attending the graduation ceremony.

1.  Outstanding Fees

  • Please ensure there are no withholds or outstanding fees (e.g. library fees or late fees) on your student account prior to graduation.  If there are any overdue fees on your student account, your transcripts and other official documentation will be withheld from you until the fees are cleared.
  • There are deadline dates to clear all overdue fees before May and June convocation. Pay particular attention to these dates.   To receive your degree by your graduation date ensure payment is made prior to your convocation date.
